"Great location, generally clean, ok service. Plenty of restaurants around and quite easy to walk around the city centre from here. Just note that we were trying to check in 2 hours earlier to the stipulated general check in time and the hotel wanted to charge us for it. First time I've heard of this - Adaggio in Edinburgh let us check in much earlier and without charging us so I'm not sure what their general policy is!"

"Le recensioni possono essere piuttosto negative da parte di alcune persone, e sono d'accordo che le camere potrebbero fare con un rinfrescamento, ma è un vecchio hotel pieno di carattere e storia e ci è davvero piacevole per questo. È molto centrale e 6 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione di Lime e 7 minuti a Cavern Quarter. (Il pub Vines vicino alla porta è anche un must & 15 min in direzione opposta, si prende il pub filharmonico, bellissimo luogo con storia e un premio vincente bistecca.). Il personale dell'hotel è stato amichevole, utile e molto carino.Vi sono un paio di bar bellissimi quando entrate nella zona di accoglienza , tra cui il bar americano, che ha un piacevole senso di bar bar. Ho avuto un sacco di tempo e sono rimasti qui per 3 notti e ha avuto un bel soggiorno. Se volesse tornare, le camere avrebbero bisogno di un sollevamento facciale. 😀"

"The spa was nice, but the bed had bed bugs, and I got bitten. The shower didn’t have a handheld option, and the water pressure was poor.
I checked in at 11 AM, which was fine, but when we returned at 9 PM, I mentioned to the reception that we needed the beds split, but that never happened. The manager came over and started complaining. I reminded him that our request had been confirmed in the morning. He was a bit temperamental at first, but it calmed down when I asked for an extra duvet."

"L'appartamento era grande, molto spazioso e pulito. Grande, l'unica cosa che avrei apprezzato più è sapere che la ricezione è almeno 5-7mins passeggiata dall'appartamento. Questo può essere annoiante soprattutto per arrivare tardi."

"18xx年的房子，很有feel，房間超大，實際上有兩層樓，可住六個人，老闆非常熱情，詳細介紹，親自演示各個位置，各種裝置，介紹周圍的吃行玩，提出需求以後還幫我訂飯店，聊的停不下來，有機會還會再去住。記得到酒店以後向左進巷子才是大門，臨街的門口是酒吧。"

"Si trova nel centro della città, vicino al centro commerciale, vicino al porto, perché ci sono agenzie governative vicine e la sicurezza della polizia è relativamente sicura.
Ci sono Tesco Express a partire alle 11:00 di notte, sia per la colazione che per la notte.
Il personale di servizio ci ha dato gentilmente una casa di paesaggio al piano alto.
La camera è comoda nel suo complesso.
La parte inconveniente è che il ventotto deve prestare in anticipo alla stazione di raffreddamento.
Il bagno non fornisce alcun approvvigionamento pulito, e il gusto del fango di aria calda deve essere migliorato per molto tempo."

DDavidHanyilmazLovely big rooms, however can get cold due to this. However could have been a fault of our own as we didn’t alter the thermostat. Bathroom was nice but if you have the option don’t choose a bath in the room and the shower is not the best. I have stayed here previously in a shower room and they are superior. We missed out on the spa if you want to go you now have to pre book which we weren’t informed about potentially Trip.com’s fault and not the hotel.

Il ristorante ha offerto una grande scelta di bevande al bar e un bel giardino per sedersi.

TTakhisis4twIl mio posto preferito per soggiornare a Liverpool, e probabilmente tutto il Regno Unito. Il Spa è sorprendente e vero per le foto pubblicizzate, in realtà è ancora meglio perché non mostrano tutto lì! Le camere sono senza spot e così bellissime, il personale è molto amichevole e gentile e non può fare abbastanza per aiutare. Trattatevi con un'esperienza di alta classe a prezzi ragionevoli. Il viaggio termico è un must assoluto.

CCharlesI personally found the hotel exactly as described on it's website! I shared one of their deluxe twin rooms with a friend and it was way bigger and more comfortable than most I've stayed in! No complaints whatsover! All the Beatles pics and memorabilia was exactly as stated and was a great supplement to a great hotel in my opinion as a big Beatles fan! The fact that it's so close to the Cavern Club, and therfore is situated right at the heart of Liverpools ”Musical” centre, and ”elelectic” atmospheric nightlife, was exactly what I was looking for! But round the corner, back into the hotel and it was back to a quiet, chilled atmosphere! Best of both worlds! Live music in a cool bar at weekend nights, delicious buffet breakfast, pretty much with everything you would want! Can't complain one single bit! That was my experience honestly! Quick, simple checking and check out! Cannot understand the negative reviews I read before I booked, which admittedly nearly put me off booking! All I can say say is, either those negative reviews were unusual or by very fussy people, or exceptional in the extreme! 10 out of 10! Keep it up all you staff in the hotel! You are the one's who make it work so well! Chic Canning, Motherwell, near Glasgow !

UUtente ospiteVisit to watch the famous Accrington Stanley play Liverpool in the fa cup , hotel really easy to find, nice room bar and restaurant masons , found parking nearby 5 min walk (under £16 for 24 hours) B parking. Only downside was this hotel is in the thick of it for late night clubs and outside so called garden bars , so it was pretty noisy in the room , it didn’t really bother us cause we both can sleep through fireworks. But if you’re a light sleeper and need to be in bed early take some ear defenders .

*The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked,
*The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018.
*tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms.
*There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it.
I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3.
Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us
The upsides were-
*Staff were pleasant,
*breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for,
*hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe.
* . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

LLeeAppartamento eccellente, pulito e tutto ciò di cui potevamo aver bisogno. Siamo stati qui con mio figlio per una vacanza in città con papà e ragazzo. La posizione è perfetta. Molto vicino al centro. Ci tornerei sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente ad altri.
